"Girls’ weekend for wine tasting! The house was perfect for the 4 of us. Everyone had their own room. The house was clean and smelled good! We loved that the beds were made and everything we needed was provided in the bathrooms and kitchen. We definitely enjoyed hanging out talking in the evenings on the comfy couch. The hosts were incredibly friendly and responded immediately to all communications. "This was our second stay at the Cayuga Homestead! Despite the rainy weather, everything was excellent. We enjoyed the TV on the main floor and watched many movies and relaxed. Kids had fun playing games in the basement. Kitchen had everything we needed and we took advantage of the waffle maker this time. What a hit! Excellent communication from Daura. Highly recommend!"

"This is a property that exemplifies an absentee owner. It was clean inside but exterior was not well maintained. Fire pit rotted through, life vests moldy and deck smelled bad. The lake is beautiful to look at but full of seaweed and has water moccasin snakes around. It does have a two person limit so it’s overpriced."

My only regret is not booking the third night to stay for the Solar Eclipse and to get to explore the property further. House itself is modest and quaint with nice furnishings and decorations and very comfortable beds and well appointed with everything you’d need for a lake vacation. Hanging out in the hot tub and dock at sunset over the lake was the best! Highly recommend this rental!"
