“Hideaway Bay is truly amazing! So peaceful and relaxing. A perfect weekend getaway! We stayed durning Mother’s Day weekend so it was much slower then I assume it would be in the summer. “This place is better than a back alley, but not by much. Weekend before Memorial day boiler still on and the room was 85 degrees had to open the door windows turn on the air it did not cool down until the next night. Cockroaches, they do not change the sheets inbetween guest, only thing the guy cleaning the room came out with are the towels, but i guess pretending to wash them works. Do not even ask about the bathroom, you are banging your knees to sit down and i think the shower was last used……

“The furniture in the room was worn out. The door to the bathroom was broken. The threshold into the bathroom had bare metal rails that could cut bare feet, the toilet was wobbly, the floors were dirty and the shower controls were hanging off the wall…I did not use the shower because of the poor shape the bathroom was in. All of the items were communicated to the front desk staff. The only redeeming aspect to the room was clean linens. I will never stay there again.”

“The "motel" is more like a resident homeless shelter!! The place is full of derelict adults and rat ass kids running around the parking lot, I damn near ran over a few. The property is run down as hell, although I will add that my room was indeed clean and the bed comfortable. Don't expect any amenities, there's absolutely none!!”

“The hotel lobby, rooms, stairways and everything else were very clean. The breakfast bar is okay- there was bagels, bread and pastries. 2 kinds of cereal.
