“My partner and I love this location but we noticed the check out time was 10am on a weekday so paid for some extra time in the morning. We popped the "do not disturb" sign on the door and luckily put the chain on but were a bit shocked.to find the cleaner trying to get in at 10am. She didnt seem to be aware that we were in for a longer stay which made us both slightly annoyed. We will happily stay again but not if that keeps happening. “Stay was fine - bed was comfortable enough, woken up around 6am because the floor boards creaked so much when the upstairs guests were moving about. Floor boards also creaked in our room - really annoying more than anything. Breakfast was fine - continental breakfast selection was nice, ordered cooked breakfast was a bit cold, thought it would have been fresh but seemed to be taken from a cool enough hot plate.”

“The room was amazing and so comfortable, the staff were lovely and couldn't have done anymore to make our stay special. The food was phenomenal and after seeing the prices we will definitely be planning on visiting more often with our family. Cannot wait to see the renovation but hope the same feeling stays about the place as it is such a special venue for us as a family. We got married there and love the old Scottish feel about the place. ”
