"The stay offered a high-end physical environment, though it was hampered by logistical and culinary shortcomings that do not align with a premium image. We stayed at the dome (glamping room). The Facility The domes provide exceptional comfort, featuring floor heating, AC, and high-quality toiletries. Common areas and the bar/games room enhance the "Instagrammable" appeal. However, the absence of "Do Not Disturb" signs or physical barriers led to guests approaching or attempting to enter private domes. The addition of a bedroom trash bin is a necessary functional upgrade. Culinary & Service While specific staff—notably Maxwell Duran Duran and the housekeeping team—provided excellent service, the food quality was underwhelming. The dishes were consistently dry, suggesting a need for improved culinary technique. Furthermore, the breakfast buffet lacked variety and essential allergy or dish labeling. Tour & Communication Management communication was inconsistent; contradictory information regarding tour inclusions resulted in redundant private bookings. The stargazing "tour" lacked professional-grade equipment, such as cameras or specialized lighting, and there was a lack of clarity regarding its private nature. It functioned more as a basic shuttle service than a specialized excursion. Verdict A beautiful location with great amenities, but the tour and culinary execution require more polish to match the premium setting"

To ensure a warm stay in Uyuni’s cold climate, specifically request an AC-equipped room in advance. \* Accessibility: There is no porter service; ground-floor rooms are preferable for heavy luggage, while upstairs rooms typically house the AC units. \* Sleep Quality: Mattresses are firm, but the multi-layered bedding is excellent for thermal regulation. \* Amenities: Basic "no-frills" setup. Bring your own shampoo/toiletries, as only hand soap is provided. Bathroom floors are notably cold. \* Facilities: A simple breakfast is available for a fee if pre-ordered. "The staff and amenities were great, but I feel like our room was not. The room had a weird stench in it, we thought at first that it came from the wind, but when we closed the window the smell stayed. It smelled like feces, it was weird. The salt ceiling also had insulation foam just bubbling in it, which I would have preferred that they cut out, it kind of ruined the affect. I was also particularly annoyed at arranging spa services. I messaged the hotel before I came and was told to wait until I got there, when I got there things were mostly booked. I booked a spa service for 9pm that night, I was worried there was a chance we would do an activity and get back late, so I asked the spa reception if that happened if I could just contact the hotel to speak to her and she said I could. So that night, when we had an activity I thought was running late, I tried REALLY hard to contact the hotel and was literally unable to do so. The phone number listed on their google and website isn't an answered number - but you don't find that out until you add it in WhatsApp and send a message. I messaged the hotel through WhatsApp and through Expedia and they didn't timely respond, I also messaged through their chat service and no response. When I FINALLY received a response it was to say that I couldn't reschedule my spa service or it would be viewed as a cancellation. Luckily I was able to make my appointment in the end, but I was HIGHLY frustrated by the experience. "
