“I didn’t like the mattress was uncomfortable. The beach access was too small and farther”

“We were not impressed with the hotel. It was much outdated and nothing special. Breakfast was not at all good. They should really change up the menu so people staying longer will have some options. Restaurant staff were not good. Bedsheets were so scratchy material and room was so gloomy. The only nice thing was walk to the Biesanz beach. Although walk to there and back is challenging itself.”

“The staff were incredibly attentive with lots of little touches to help make your lives easier e.g. golf cart from the main entrance, leaving gift with snacks for my road trip, choice of toiletries, free umbrellas available and more.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Tulemar in the 1 bedroom villa. The property is incredible with the immersion in the jungle. We enjoyed our patio and seeing sloths and monkeys daily! The shuttle service on property was great to get us around to the beach, restaurants and front entry. The concierge service is incredible, Jorge was so wonderful answering questions leading up to the trip, and during to help in any way he could. I cannot say enough good things about Tulemar....if you have the……

“Fabulous location, walking distance to MA nature reserve. Carlos gave great tips on where to see wildlife around the beach. Breakfast was lovely, everything about the hotel was perfect.”

“It felt like a roadside motel. The food at the attached restaurant is good. Breakfast was included daily, which was nice but the options got really redundant by the 3rd or 4th day. The common areas were clean until the last two days when a large group checked in. Our final morning the common areas were littered with trash and belongings everywhere. The rooms are oddly shaped with no storage areas and have the strangest echos. You have to leave your key for housekeeping to service them. Close……
