“This hotel is well located next to Mingara Recreational Club where you have a number of restaurants and Bars to enjoy a succulent Chinese meal. Excellent attention to detail from the team at checkin.”

“We enjoyed a lot the experience in this apartment. The price was a little high, but its a high quality place. The swimming pool was wonderful and the jacuzzi for free use. We were 3 nights and we would repeat again.”

“Lovely comfortable beds. Nice view if you have breakfast there. Downside is if you want breakfast, you have to pay for a buffet - no ala carte menu or ability to just order coffee.”

“Got upgraded to a 3 bedroom villa which was fabulous! So spacious and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed the indoor heated pool, tennis court and gym. Also loved the breakfast buffet. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. We're aready thinking about when we can come back again.”

“Upon arrival, staff member was very courteous and helpful. Cabin was nice. Smelled like mould in the cupboards. Microwave didnt work. Leaks in the bathroom from the shower and under the sink. An hour of our stay was taken away as we left the cabin for breakfast and came back to find the cleaner in our cabin. Staff upon leaving did nothing to deal with us having an hour shaved off our paid time. Overall, was an ok stay. Grounds were clean. Amenities were nice.”

“I was pretty happy with my experience. Only "complaint" was the lack of laundry on the premises (I like doing my own laundry) and the limited selection in terms or vending machines. Not really complaints just things I kinda look for when I stay at hotels outside a shopping district.”

Checking in after work on a Monday was poorly timed- My check in was commensurate with ten people ordering after-work drinks. Free ear plugs are provided to block out the noise of the 1am street brawls below. The shared bathrooms are lovely - pity the people I was sharing with didn’t know how to use a toilet brush or bath mat. The restaurant/bar area downstairs is modern and fresh. “Cockroach in bathroom in the middle of the night. Awful smell from the bathroom drain that we ended up putting small towels over it to stop the smell. Mould spores and mould on curtains in lounge room. They put us in a room directly across from the golf club and restaurant. From 4.30am very loud noises and people congregating behind my bedroom window talking loudly. Told reception who couldn’t care less and that’s it’s a golf resort so what do you expect. Still they are happy to take your $400...

“We had a pleasant stay and found the beds to be exceptionally comfortable. The sheets and towels were fresh and spotless, which we really appreciated. The property is a little older and could benefit from some fresh paint and maintenance, particularly the fly screens, which need some attention. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and with a few updates, this would be an even better place to stay. Thank you to the staff for their hospitality.”
