“The place is like heaven didn’t want to leave the staff from restaurant to concierge services to town and train station the view at the pool and hot tub just after a long day at town the pool closed at 8 and we just missed having a quick hot tub before bed food was excellent from breakfast to dinner then coming back to a chocolate on your pillows at night ~ would love to come again”

“We only stayed one night there. The location is perfect, only a few minutes to many restaurants, the Murphy's icecream, and the supermarket is just around th corner. The problem is that you can clearly hear the footsteps from upstair and the noise last until midnight. But the room itself is tidy and clean.”

“I highly recommend Ballyseede Castle for your stay. It is a gorgeous property with beautiful maintained gardens. Two lovely Irish Wolfhounds & a fenced in spot with some minature horses & donkeys. A wonderful outdoor area with a gazebo & seating. At night with the lights illuminating the castle, it looks magical! A special occassion there would be amazing. (Wedding etc) As a travel consultant, I cannot praise it enough. I hope to stay there again & will recommend to clients who want the……

“Shockingly disgusting and I would strongly recommend you book elsewhere. Our room was literally infested with hundreds of bugs and huge spiders. At 2:30am, I felt something crawling on my forehead and could not sleep any more. Numerous dead bugs in the bathtub, shower and floor. For the amount of money we paid, over 400 euros, I would have expected a clean place. After discussing it with the receptionist, he said "that is the way it is".”

“Beautiful, clean hotel. Helpful staff. When we arrived the women helped us in with our luggage. The next day we needed a wine opener and the woman at desk went across the street to a restaurant and got one for us to use. So kind. They have a nice little Cafe open earlier than all others in town at 7 am.”

“This hotel was the relaxing stopover we needed on our wild Atlantic way trip. Each hotel guest gets one hour complimentary access to the spa facilities. There’s also a steam room & hot tub by the pool. The spa staff squeezed us in last minute, which we greatly appreciated! The newly renovated rooms are very comfortable - we all had a great nights sleep. The breakfast was included (even though it said we’d have to pay at the property on Expedia). I don’t normal leave reviews but this place should……
