"Staff amazingly helpful , breakfast very poor, but overall a great experience. Was cheapest hotel on a weekend of the London marathon and very convenient for Russell Square Underground. Staff very helpful."

"This hotel has an amazing location but it stops there. Beds are extremely uncomfortable. The king bed is just two twin beds sandwiched together with a very uncomfortable seem in the middle. Mattresses are so old that the springs are gone. Hotel is dated and in need of upgrades. Moths flying around the halls and annoying cleaning staff that still knocks when you have do not disturb sign on. I saw a very fast moving insect in my bathroom on the last day. Would not recommend staying here. AC and fridge both very loud. Toilet runs. Not sure how this is even 4 star"

"The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel is in good condition and is clean. My main issue is the poor WiFi - as there is no signal in the area you are reliant on that working. There was a lot of noise during the night but I appreciate there is only so much the staff can do about that."

"Spotlessly clean through out the hotel. Delicious breakfast. Reception staff, so very friendly and helpful. Concierge amazingly helpful. Stayed here often, many years ago and we are back and not going anywhere else."
