“The staff at Buenavista made this a great vacation. They work very hard to make sure you are comfortable, well fed and you have everything you need. The Chef prepared 3 fabulous meals a day. The owner will contact you prior to arrival to see food preferences and go to the store. Just know that you need to have cash to pay for the groceries upon arrivall. “We stayed 4 nights and really enjoyed the experience. The lodging is terrific and diving, jet skiing, snorkeling and sailing are right there on the beach. The restaurant and bar (which also serves food) have good food and drinks. However, it often felt as though they were understaffed and running a bit frantic. It wasn’t uncommon to see the wait staff talking when guests were waiting to order or get food. The two restaurants are the main eateries at the resort and there are no restaurants……

“We had a "garden room" which means no ocean view. Nice patio but looking at another building. There is a Pool and swim up bar. Pool is designed for kids and there were a lot of them! Only 5 lounge chairs that were never available. Servers were very polite and helpful. ”
