"This was the pinnacle of hotel rooms for my kids who adore Godzilla. We stayed on the 30th floor which has a number of stills from the making of the movies. The rooms are decorated wonderfully. It is a smaller room (as you'd expect in the middle of Shinjuku). The staff were quite helpful and they call your attention to Godzilla-related things happening elsewhere."

"We absolutely loved this hotel! It’s in an excellent location with good transport connections to anywhere around Tokyo yet felt calmer than lots of the other districts we visited. Loved the convenience of the hotel and extra touches such as the robes, laundry facilities and kitchen area so we could eat in the shared dining space and don’t always have to eat out. The staff were always really helpful. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!"

The shuttle to and from the parks was always on time and never super crowded. Also appreciated the fact that the hotel was connected to a train station via a walkway. "Stayed at ​Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo - Shiodome​ and loved it! The location is perfect—just steps from Shiodome Station and close to Ginza. The room was compact but very clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. Super comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower, and fast Wi-Fi. Staff were polite and efficient, and the breakfast had a nice mix of Japanese and Western options. Would definitely stay here again for a hassle-free Tokyo trip! ​Highly recommend!​"
