"Nice stay in Challis for a few days. Had everything I needed. Good size for one maybe two people. Would be nice to have a place for luggage. The only complaint was the bed was a bit older and uncomfortable and no plugs near bed for phone that were convenient."

"My wife and I have vacationed at three VRBO properties. This visit, "The River's Edge" was the BEST of the three vacations. I desperately needed a vacation from work. I will say that after this seven day vacation of viewing Nature on our doorstep, fishing, and adventure that I am ready to return to work. The owners of the VRBO Jan and Tim are exceptional hosts. "We had a great time at Salmon House. It was conveniently located and comfortable. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the porch in the mornings and evenings. The house had everything we needed and Russell was wonderful to work with as our host. "

"Great location and scenery!! Wonderful large deck to take in the river view. Only issue was the door key/lock was a bit tough to operate."

"We couldn't have picked a better spot to spend the night, only complain is that we wish it hadn't just been one night! Pat and Lorett are amazing hosts and clearly care very much about making sure their guests have everything they need. The wagon was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and fully fit with everything needed. They even had the AC turned on to cool down the wagon before we arrived.We cooked our dinner on the BBQ and sat beside the river for both dinner and breakfast. Many choices for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious. The homemade muffins, breakfast sandwhich and burrito were a great choice.Lastly the donkeys are so sweet and friendly. We spent about an hour talking with Pat Lorett while feeding carrots to the donkeys, giving them butt scratches and getting hugs. Might have been the highlight of our roadtrip to spend the time with Pat, Lorett, the donkeys and the chickens.Can't recommend staying here enough!"
