“Could be a very nice home on the lake if more care was taken. Sort of a hodge-podge place with pieces of plooring missing, cabinets without handles, lots of cobwebs and a bit dirty overall. The bathroom was not good, the toilet water was brown and the water came out as a trickle in the sink. Bathroom needs a thorough clean. “We had a great stay! We chose this cabin to help us escape from our busy life. The home is beautiful, designed with such care and unique finishes. The kitchen is well stocked with high quality cookware and appliances (there was even a large assortment of coffees, spices, sweeteners), the outdoor space is incredible, and the setting is gorgeous. We enjoyed watching squirrels and birds play in the oak trees throughout the property. Brett was an excellent host, he was great at communicating with us……

I love being able to explore nature, far away from cell phone reception.It wasn't obvious how/where to use the kayaks, so we left them alone, but the water was moving too fast to use with children anyway. “Our weekend getaway at The Lodges Sunset Village was excellent. Loved the quaint atmosphere and cozy cabin. It was a great size for 3. Close shops and eateries near by. Staff was accommodating and prompt. The only suggestion I would give is that when providing the cabin number/addresses to the lake side properties to use cabin5 address for all rooms. We were taken completely off track with the original address as typed in the gps. Also we would suggest a larger sign at the street for the……
