“This is a typical roadside motel with units 1-10 side by side. It is clean and roomy. The staff friendly and helpful though we didn’t really interact much. The bed was large and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised that there was a small working refrigerator (with small freezer that worked really well). The motel is Dog friendly. “The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway for me and my husband. We were in the area to kayak the Kickapoo River and the cabin was close to where we launched (about 8 mins). It was cozy to relax in after 12.5 miles of kayaking. We enjoyed sitting outside, seeing wildlife including a deer, and hearing an owl at night. We plan to be back!”
