“There is no staff at the facility but someone is available by text The common areas were great. I can see how this would be a good communal area to meet others in the busy months or go with a big group of friends. I loved the work from home room. The outdoor areas were really nice too. Unfortunately the entry keypad into my room was very finicky. It would take me multiple tries each time entering my room to hit the numbers just right. My toilet seat in the bathroom was also completely broken……

“Super clean, staff very nice, cabins had kitchens and fireplace that were very nice, but the coffee maker did not work. Nice you could spend just one night but really once there you are going to want to spend at least two. No amenities like pool or gym but they did have the worlds smallest sheep. :) It would be nice if they had a couple of cabins with a jacuzzi tub for after a long drive. It was hard to get to but i think our GPS messed up and took us onto lots of gravel roads to get there so……

“Great location downtown near good restaurants. The hotel is old and full of character and history. Microwave, good shower, many cable TV channels, refrigerator, elevator- all in good order. With a cinema and restaurant in the lobby. We watched a movie (The Sheep Detectives).”

“Room was lovely. Lots of old time charm. Beautiful view! Continental breakfast was average- fruit was kind of shriveled. Did not try out the restaurant, it just didn’t fit our schedule. Would stay again.”

“I don’t know where to begin. The place smelled like cigarette smoke. When I tried to check in I had to ring a bell and was to come back as the front desk staff seemed to all go out to lunch. After finally checking in, the tv didn’t work, the iron is broken and spilled water everywhere when I tried to iron my clothes. The bathroom showers had mold everywhere and I was genuinely afraid to step on the carpet, barefooted or touch anything in the room. I had to put my own bedsheets and pillowcases on……

“The hotel is very clean and bed is so comfortable. Besides the location is very convenient to the supermarket, bank and some fast-food restaurants! I enjoy very much of this trip!!!”

“For the price this was a nice place to stay passing through Brattleboro. Everything was fine until an employee, without knocking, just unlocked our door and walked in at 10:40am and said “Check out”. Someone could have been dressing. We felt very rushed even though checkout was 11am. It took a lot of restraint to not verbally lay into the guy. Just make sure your extra locks are secured.”

“The customer service alone here makes me want to stay here time and time again! Every single staff member I dealt with at the front desk and on the phone was so kind and extremely pleasant to deal with. As a solo traveler, this also gave me a feeling of safety which I truly appreciate. The rooms may be slightly outdated, but was clean and comfortable for a one night stay. The mattress was a bit softer than I prefer, but the A/C ran great and I slept like a baby all night with zero disturbance.……

“Fun stay at a neat old inn in a very convenient and lovely location, walking distance to good food and shopping. This is an older hotel that doesn’t have all the updated and most modern conveniences but if it did, it would be twice as expensive and I probably would not have stayed there. And it would probably lose some of its charm. Lovely on site restaurant and every thing is very clean and neat, freshly painted, I would, and probably will, stay here again next time I am in the area. Very……
