“We booked a one-night experience for ourselves, our two sons and their respective wives at this highly rated facility as part of our vacation. We arrived early for our check-in, so one of three rooms was available which was fine. The rooms were large but had a musty smell when we entered. “Location, location, location! There are only 4 hotels near Point Reyes National Seashore. Tomales Bay Resort is one of the closest. In fact, you have to drive past the hotel to get something to eat at the markets and restaurants in Inverness and Point Reyes Station after a day of exploring. You know you are there when you see a boat near the road. The room is a little outdated but it is cozy. On check in day the hotel has the gas stove in the room already turned on.
