“Spacious room, huge washroom, comfy beds, nice touch with the fluffy robes. Hotel was quiet at night. Plenty of options for the continental breakfast. Did not get a chance to try the restaurant onsite. Would stay again.”

“A beautiful log cabin style lodge. Lovely two story lobby. Welcoming, helpful staff. The guest room was very small, no room for a chair, but the log walls were beautiful. Odd location. In front, a wonderful view of mountains and river. Behind, a commercial warehouse district. No restaurants or shops there but a pleasant city center is about 6 blocks away.”

“Great cozy lodge! The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was provided. The entire felt historic, rooms were cozy, and the views you get from the rooms and the breakfast dining room was amazing. Parking was slightly uneasy as there wasn’t markings outside of the lodge, during peak or busy summer times, if all the rooms are occupied, be prepared that the parking space outside he property will all be occupied too. Driving into the lodge was a long 80km/h road……

“Shower was not working properly (no hot water). Managed to get it to work for a shower and a half (Wife said last half of shower was luke warm). Staff offered a different rooms shower. Positive front desk guy did not understand me when I suggest they change the faucet in shower to fix issue.”

“Room smelt horrible had to leave windows open to air out the room each time we came back. TV didn’t work the two days we were there. Shower barely gets you wet you’d think they could afford to replace the 1980’s shower heads. Ask for a call from the manager and still haven’t gotten the call. WYNDAM shouldn’t attach their name to this place.”

“The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep.”

“Room was spacious, breakfast the usual fare, but well looked after by the staff person.”

“Great home base for exploring Yoho NP. Quaint atmosphere. Fantastic breakfast included. Great restaurant next door for dinners. Walk to gondola. Kim and Izzy were delightful hosts. Can’t go wrong staying here. Super clean and quiet room.”
