“We stayed 5 nights at Force Five, as part of a Lake Superior road trip. The check-in process was unnecessarily stressful. The person at the desk told us about the two options for parking, but failed to tell us we could pull up in front to unload, but instead watched us schlepp all of our luggage, making multiple trips, from the parking lot. They also failed to tell us that the Maurice Building, where we ended up parking, closes at 7:00, so the elevators and doors stop working. It was a super……

“The inn had no rooms with walk in showers even though it was advertised. Had to go down to the reception area to use a microwave-none in room. Bed was so high that my wife had to use a stool to get into it. There was a preset alarm on the time clock for 6AM that was not expected. When the heat was off there was a fan that cooled the room too much immediately. The tub was slippery when used for a shower.”

“Air conditioning was so loud it kept us up most of the day. Hot tub is broken. Was told I couldn’t check in early even though the hotel was clearly not full when we were there.”

“The location and employees are absolutely nice! They also provide great dinning suggestions for either fine dining or casual dining.”

“The hotel was junk. No elevator. Limited parking room was “just” acceptable. The worst part was what I had to pay Expedia…$300.00 for a $60.00 hotel. Never again.”
