"Good location but no frills. No coffee or kettle in the room. Very small bathroom with shelf hanging over the sink that made it difficult to wash up. Charged $4/bag to hold them for a few hours after checkout. $15 credit at the market was a nice perk though. "

"The bathroom was dirty and we weren’t able to adjust the temperature and so we had to leave at 1am because it was unbearably hot. I would not recommend this hotel and will be seeking a refund. "

"Very well-appointed hotel and room, excellent location, pleasant staff. However, the check-in was too slow for a property of this quality. Also, the property texted me and asked if I needed anything, and I requested a mini fridge. The reply was that it would be delivered to my room, but it never was. It’s not a problem if there wasn’t one available, the problem was the unkept promise (and failure to follow-up). Finally, there was an unexpected charge to my credit card that I am waiting to have resolved. I expect it will be fixed, but again a property like this should not have such problems. I have stayed at a great many hotels in Manhattan and I have rarely had such a litany of issues, though admittedly in this case none were that big a deal."

"Always a satisfactory experience from check-in to check-out. All staff from front desk, porter and housekeeping are courteous and helpful. The room is small but clean with substantial amenities. The bed is comfortable and sheets are clean. The area is safe and convenient being very close to Grand Central."
