“Room was ok. The double room beds seemed very small. Breakfast was the same each day but had a decent variety. Coffee was horrible. Pool area is nice but the pool heater wasn’t working so it was freezing. Room keys stopped working 5 minutes before checkout.”

“Nice place, however not having an elevator makes it tough for people with heavy luggage or coolers to get to the 2nd floor. Also the ice machine on 2nd floor was out of order... It was nice enough for us, would probably stay again, to be honest.”

“This has always been a solid hotel. We’ve stayed here many times because it is the best option in city of Merrill. The rooms have always been clean. The value for what you get can’t be beat.”

“Stephanie checked me in after I attempted to use the self check-in QR code. She was pleasant and helpful during the process. However, the next morning when I went to check out, she spoke to me through the Ring doorbell camera and simply told me to leave the key on the desk. It felt a bit impersonal. Originally, I had booked a king room on the second floor, but I discovered there was no elevator. That wasn’t a major issue, and I requested a first-floor room with a queen bed instead — Room……

“You get exactly what you pay for here, and it’s not much. If you’re cheap or poor like me, this is where you want to be. Also, there are a lot of people in and out so if socializing with strangers is your thing you’re in for a treat. There’s a weird guy that sits by the front desk and stares at everyone that comes down the hall but there wasn’t a category to rate him. Every other rating is “okay” but I’d probably rate him as “not okay”. Maybe he’s an undercover security guard. He’s not going to……
