"We were going to Sleeping Bear Dunes so there really are not a lot of options for stays. The service was fast on the phone during business hours. I did not love that the after hour check-in requires taking a key from a public box for safety reasons. The pillows and bed were very uncomfortable. When we got to our room the heat was not on and the room was at 59 degrees, mind you it is 40 and dropping. We spent a long time trying to determine how to turn the heat on (it is not using the wall thermostat but the ac looking unit which is very difficult to get to as a counter top was installed right on top of it). The unit proceeds to blow cold and hot air. Both the bath tub and toilet are leaking water and the bathroom floor is warping because of it. Additionally, you can hear everything from the rooms around you and outside (I can see why they provide a white noise machine). Aside from all of that the room was clean. Hard to recommend but I know it’s one of the only options."

"The home was spacious and comfortable for our big group, and we felt like we had plenty of privacy with the wooded lot and campfire space outside. The house was well-stocked with towels, kitchen items, and toiletries, and it had ample parking for our vehicles. The hosts were responsive and helpful with any questions we had as well. We truly enjoyed our family gathering and would absolutely stay again! "

"The rooms have been nicely refurbished. However several details needed attention they are the following: 1. The TV reception is very bad a station would be on then go off for several minutes, come back on only to go black again for several minutes. No point in trying to watch anything. 2. The coffee maker did not work. We tried in several outlets but it did not light. 3. The shower was very difficult to adjust the temp, it was either scalding hot or freezing cold. For safety I would strongly recommend an upgrade to a better controller that is easy to control. I finally gave up on having a good shower. 4. Also for safety sake I would also recommend eliminating the multiple extention cords that have been used to extend power to multiple devices in favor of a safer extention of power using conduit. In summary it was good for a one night stay but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay any longer."

"It's off season in northern Michigan...but, the stay was very pleasant. Room was very clean. Easy check in and at door parking. All we could ask for."
