“Starlight Chalet is a very nice, well maintained classic building with beautiful landscaping. The view is wonderful, especially from upstairs and from the gazebo. The food was very good (but perhaps a bit expensive). The beds were comfortable and the room/bathroom was clean and well-maintained. There is no AC, but the temperature at 3500' was much cooler than in the adjacent lowlands so AC was not essential. We went on several birding excursions and found lots of good birds. If you go,……

“Unfortunately it took 3 goes to get a comfortable room. First night we were unable to sleep due to the noisy building works carried out and the sound of generators. Breakfast was not nice, the fried dumplings were so tough neither me nor hubby could break a piece. The fried fish dinner was extremely over priced and tasteless. At every meal we left most of it. However most staff were courteous and professional. Hotel is in a great location but unfortunately we wouldn't stay here again especially……
