"The view was terrific and you couldn’t beat the out of season pricing! The room was clean but showing its wear (chipping paint, bathroom had peeling wallpaper, furniture was well loved in more of a “seen a lot of action” than a “charming way”.) Much to my disappointment, the hot tub was used like a splash pad for Littles and constantly had half a dozen or more small humans jumping in and out so I wasn’t able to make use of it as hoped. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was practical but okay. Wasn’t disappointed with my stay, but probably wouldn’t stay again "

"The hotel the 4 story section could use a refresh in the paint and finishing. The roof top bar had an amazing view and served a wide arrange of cocktails. The one major issue was there was no hot water! Common in older hotels, However the location was within walking distance of downtown!"

"We had a pleasant stay at Sugar Beach Resort Hotel. The staff were very welcoming, and we enjoyed the pool area and the small arcade, which kept the kids entertained. While the breakfast box was adequate, we felt it could have been more substantial. We did notice that the rooms and the hotel itself are a bit dated, but the location right on the beach is truly outstanding and makes up for it."
