Excellent cooked breakfast,amazing hosts.

One of the best properties we’ve stayed in! We had a great time - the rooms are stunning, there is so much to do around the property and yet, it was peaceful and intimate at the same time. Highly recommend having all your meals there - the food and staff were a big highlight of our stay. We will definitely be back!

Charming hotel in rural countryside of England. It is a five star restaurant with rooms to rent. Not at all like a regular Hotel or Motel More like a Bed and Breakfast, except that they also serve dinner and has a bar and service is excellent.

Great place - love the atmosphere and the service. Convenient to the town - easy walk to dinner. Breakfast was delish and a lovely property.

Easy parking, great location

We were on a trip around the south coast for my wife's 40th stopping 2 nights in Salcombe. The hotel is in fantastic condition and the rooms are great, especially if you have a water view like we did. Above all this it's the staff that made are stay extra special. They were friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and this made our stay absolutely fantastic. The hotel is in Center of the town with great walks to bays either side, couldn't be better located.

Great hotel with lovely facilities and has an amazing location. Only one downside full of elderly and is used by coach companies. I am sure this is what keeps the standards so high and the price so reasonable. Excellent stay lovely food all at a good price and a great view

Clean room and friendly staff

I had the perfect stay at Abbey Sands. The front desk staff are so friendly and helpful, the cleaning lady is a gem. Everything perfectly clean and comfortable in this quiet hotel in a perfect location. I would definitely choose to stay here again

The hotel staff worked as a unit, ensuring all was well and comfortable with their guests. It appears to be a family, with all very experienced in the hotel and guest business. There was free parking, very welcome indeed. Every possible comfort was thought of and our rest was lovely with the exception of a few Wednesday night pub guests who stayed past midnight and awoke us at 3:30 AM. The first night was perfect and peaceful. Obviously if one rents a room at a hotel with a pub on the bottom...

Stayed 4 nights. really comfortable and spacious rooms. Ate in the restaurant each night excellent food and great sevice. hotel set in beautiful surroundings, very peaceful. took a lot of stress out of the working week.

This staff treated us like family. The manager helped us get medical care, even loaned us his personal phone. The night manager supplied us with ice to handle pain. Dinner was amazing. All staff, including the kitchen staff and chefs, literally stood outside to wave goodbye to the seniors on the buses every day!!
