"Started with a thoughtful call from Jim who runs the place, during the late afternoon explaining our food options locally. Very considerate based on the dining options around here being limited after 7pm. The place is amazing. Rooms are incredible. We took the row boat and kayak out on the lake and then made a fire in the pit. Jim brought out some premade s’mores packs with sticks. Just an amazing and outstanding place. Would highly recommend staying here. "

"We had a lovely time at this house. Really enjoyed the beach for the kids! We all had plenty of space for sleeping and the location is awesome. We appreciated the wide array of fans in the closets to help keep it cool. "

"This was a nice property in a great location. It is 20minutes from St Ignace, and the lake is great for swimming with small kids, for the depth is very shallow for quite a ways. We saw ducks, a porcupine, coyote, and more. The kitchen is well stocked, but my suggestion is guests bring a sharp chef’s knife if you plan to cook. Also, a few plates you can use in the microwave. The cupboards have the basics, but it is an eclectic mix of antique bowls and plastics. Our only real complaint was temp and water pressure in the showers. Showers take awhile, for there isn’t a lot of pressure, and the water fluctuates from very hot to cold. We loved the game room and gathering space so much. It was a great place to play when we had a rainy day. We never made use of the kayaks, but loved that we had the opportunity to use them. Our toddler loved the paddle boat. Loved our stay for our purposes and you can’t beat it for the price. Would stay here again."

"I loved staying at the cedar loft. I went for a solo trip and really enjoyed the beach and forest and serenity of the place, especially the day when no one else had booked the neigboring spot and I had the whole beach to myself. The loft had everything I needed and had amazing views of the lake even from the bed. Would recommend. "
