"My friend (with infant) and I came to the island to visit and soak up some nature. Our stay in Buckley Bay provided beautiful views of the bay, with frequent visits from the seals and otters. The location, while a little ways outside of the main centres, was only a short drive to get to a cafe, nature walks, and restaurants. The house feels very spacious with large bedrooms and ample sitting space to cozy up with a cup of tea or good book."

"We had an amazing stay at Jim’s place, being directly on the beach was wonderful, listening to the waves crashing at our doorstep and watching and listening to the eagles and seals. "The house was really lovely and like new. Nicely appointed with any kitchen gadget you could need and the overall amenities were great. We had our dog with us and it was wonderful having a fully enclosed lot around the house. It’s next door to a gorgeous trail system in the forest with access to Seal Bay park. It was also extremely well equipped with a lot of thoughtful touches like logs arranged in the fireplace ready for us to light them, well equipped kitchen with a wide range of spices and other cooking essentials, and even kid friendly plates and cups. "The position on the beach was absolutely lovely, specracular views over the water to the hills beyond, wildlife in the water (we saw and heard Sea Lions and Seals), birds and kayaking. Location was tremendous to access trails and whale watching tours, Victoria also not too far away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay"
