"Get past the neighborhood. Yes, the street and area are a bit rough. But when you walk into this clean, spacious, and modern apartment, you will forget all of that. The place is extremely clean and well-appointed! The kitchen is basically brand new. The bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms totally clean. And the owner is great with details and communication. As far as the street and immediate neighborhood go, nobody bothered us despite us standing out like (a very white family of) sore...

"Perfectly acceptable space, though hasn't been deep cleaned in a long time (doesn't bother me, but may bother others). Right next to Little India in Jersey City and easy to get into Manhattan from this location. Property manager was easy to communicate with and reach."

"The room was very clean, except the towels were stained. The heat wasnt working and it was fixed immediately. Only other issue was certain tv channels did not work properly. There was some garbage and cigarette buts outside. The price was affordable. Overall i was happy. And would stay here again. Huge plus they allow pets for a small extra charge."

"Nice place. Quiet and convenient location, close to public transportation. Host was great. He was ready and available for anything you need. The only con for me was the parking. It's not as accessible as it seems from the listing. You can fit in the backyard but the narrow driveway between houses might be difficult depending on your vehicle. The upstairs tenants also block the driveway so you'll end up stuck either way. Host was nice enough to let us park in the grass but you have to maneuver...

"We booked our stay here two days before checking in. On the day of we had not heard from the host. After multiple attempts to contact them, via app and phone call, it wasn’t until 45 minutes after we were supposed to check in that our reservation was cancelled due to having been double booked on another platform. Very disappointing as it left us scrambling to find somewhere else to stay. The area was nice and walkable, but a disappointing turn of events."
