Their food menu are soso. But there will definitely be some highlight on one of a few dishes. Like their beef! Mostly are fresh vegetables! So if u like vegetables their food is the way to go. I wouldnt go here for food but more for their stay and ambience. Private bath in suite room was pretty!
Beautiful property with a wonderful view of the lake from our spacious room. Our room was very clean and the staff was attentive and courteous. The Prince Hakone itself is somewhat isolated and public transportation is very limited. A free shuttle to the nearest village (MotoHakone) is provided but ...
Super convenient location: from the Hakone Yumoto train station walk across the skybridge, down the stairs and around the corner it will be at the end of a tiny short street. Lots of interesting and terrific shopping and restaurants. Direct train from Shinjuku station on the Odakyu "romance car". ...
Hakone was a highlight of our holiday in Japan! Part of this was because of the excellent service we received at the Resorpia. Our expectations were exceeded! We had dinner in the hotel the two nights we stayed there and before they took our order, they asked if we had any food allergies. I mentioned ...
We like that this hotel has many outdoor onsens and we made the best out of it. The rooms are very old however. Some renovation would bring more light into the rooms. We would recommend the traditional Japanese tatami rooms. This hotel is the cheaper version compared to its sister hotel Okada. We ...
We had a great time staying here in mid July. They have one public bath per gender (one huge bath to soak in and the traditional Japanese bath stalls to wash) in the building which is open all year round. There was also the yu no sato which is not open in the winter. The Yu no sato had 6 pools, 5 ...
We stayed for one night in early April. The entire experience from check in to check out were outstanding, and left a great impression. There were beautiful mountain views every where, in our room, in the dining area, and even in the souvenir shop. The location itself is close to the very beautiful ...
I don't understand why you'd force me to write 50 words when I've nothing to add. Further I will use this opportunity to lodge a complaint about your review process since it robs me of choice. In fact it seems no matter how much I write your system won't accept it.
This resort has a lot of facilities. It even has a bowling alley. Service is top notch. Special mention to Mr Narita at the conceirge who assisted us and went the extra mile is helping us with our logistics. Well Done!!!
Very good. My only concern was the state of the private baths in the evening as they did not seem as clean as I would have liked. Otherwise, staff were excellent. I would recommend not going for half board as there are good restaurants in the neighbourhood. Dinner was good but expensive. At least ...
The hot spring to the room really can't be beat and the staff is impeccable. The facilities are clean and in every way a traditional ryokan. The only detractor is that it is not located particularly close to any towns/museums and getting down the hill is a bit of a challenge. The staff tries to mitigate ...
