The Surf House is very clean and tidy. Pool was great, mattresses were amazing and checking in was a breeze. They were able to accommodate a couple of last minute requests without issue. The staff, especially Hannah, were wonderful.

My room was on the first floor which is actually the second floor. oh and they have an elovator which helped out since my mom cant get around as good as she used too. What a great view of the beach even though the road is in front of beach when you are inside the room all you see is ocean view, standing of course.but then you can go outside and sit on your rocking chair and enjoy the ocean and watch the waves roll in .its a great value for such a nice view.Plus the guys in the office were great...

I stayed here for one night for my birthday. They made it an extra special birthday by upgrading my room to a king suite and letting me check in early. My whole stay was excellent, wish it was longer. I will definitely return to the Janmere! The king bed was extremely comfortable, the full size shower head was excellent for a hotel and the room was clean and freshly decorated.

It was clean and walkable area to Wally’s, The Goat, Wok the Wok and a few other nearby restaurants

This property is a little gem. Every staff person from the front desk to the breakfast area were so attentive and courteous. Excellent coffee area with water and hot water if you prefer. They also have quiet times so you can get a good night sleep

Overall, the hotel and stay was great. We got there early and were able to check in early with no additional costs, which made our stay so much easier and better. The room was very clean. Front desk employees were nice, especially the gentleman who let us check in much earlier! There are many restaurants and places around the hotel to grab a bite to eat. Such a great way to stay on New Castle Island - the studio (#5 with a view of the water) is very charming, well appointed, and super clean. Walkable to the beach and right next door to Henry’s Market, which as delicious breakfast and lunch items and friendly service. Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend or longer.
