“We stayed here a week ago on the way to the beach last minute and this was exactly halfway so we booked it again. The problems with the room were the same, soap out of reach for my kids, locked into the wall, the AC was CRAZY LOUD and scared my kids awake a couple times. This stay, there was a high pitched beeping coming from the outlet at the headboard between the beds. Couldn't find a way to turn it off and kept my daughter and I awake even with a sound machine one. Good water pressure and……

“Our room had mold everywhere. We checked in late and didn’t notice until the next morning. Lamp shade in the room. Mold all over it. Bathroom. Mold everywhere. The shower had one temp which was scalding hot. I told the front desk staff. We have stayed at dozens of Hampton inns and I have never once made a complaint. The front desk staff said since I booked through Expedia I’d have to go through them for the refund. Contacted Expedia and they opened a case on my behalf only for the hotel to then……

“I’m not sure how this place is rated as high as it is…. It’s terrible. It’s old and run down. The showers look gross and make god awful noises all night where you can’t sleep. Also on Expedia it looks like you get the jacuzzi in the room but that’s not the case. Also, the breakfast was gone by 8am, the milk, coffee, everything. The room keys deactivate themselves randomly. The lady at the front desk was nice but that’s the only pro. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.”

“The air condition went out while we were out the second day. When we got back it was 80 degrees in the room. I called for service but no one was available to come out till the next day. Which was our checkout day. The windows had no screens so it was not really an option to keep them open . The next day I received a message with a picture of the thermostat showing it was 73* and they said there was no issue. Obviously it was an issue while we were there. I responded and got no response after……
