“I didn't even stay there because the woman on the phone was so rude. I called to see if I could cancel because our plans changed and we were offered a closer option with much less driving involved for the last stage of our trip. At first, she just answered the phone like it was her house and didn't even seem to recognize my reservation. When she finally found it, she said oh yes, the room is ready and waiting for you. I will charge you full price if you cancel now. I thought she was mistaken……

“Beautiful location right in the lake and 2 blocks from the Hall of Fame. We liked the covered outdoor chairs to look at the lake, as well as chairs to sit and have lunch by the marina. Sadly they had a big fire in late July shutting down the restaurant, but thankfully the hotel is still open. We will stay here again when we come back. Nice staff, clean rooms, warm shower!”
