"Great stop for anyone passing through upstate NY. Rooms are small and basic, but very clean and beds surprisingly comfortable. Service is great--the owner offered us snacks when we arrived and breakfast the next morning and pointed us to restaurants in the (small) town. There aren't many choices for where to stay in the area but you can feel comfortable choosing the Potsdam Inn."

Several dining options in walking distance and the Roxy Movie Theatre is right across the street. Have stayed many times and the free breakfast is about the best around "

"The house had everything we needed, downstairs very open. The stairs were steep and narrow, wasn't an issue for us but maybe for others. Took a minute to figure out the light switches. They had a few toys for our baby -9 mos- to play with, was nice. The neighbourhood was not what we expected, but had no issues. There was a previous comment about it looking "hood" I wouldn't say Hood just older houses on a river, that are their homes not vacationed lodging. Overall it was nice, clean, and quiet. I recommend Phillips diner, Buster's restaurant, and The Gran view."
