“Great little family getaway spot. Nothing fancy, but it was perfect for our family. They keep the pool at 84, hot tub jets aren’t always working but temp was great. Seems like a spot for family and teams to stay, or the odd teen birthday. Parents were supervising, and the kids were very respectful; teens even letting my 4.5 yr old join in on their pool games. “I was only in my room from 10 pm to 7 am for two consecutive days. I didn't use any of the amenities. However, a shower was important to me and the bathtub would not drain. The drain lever would change position but did not change the draining. The first night the water level was above my ankle bones after a 10 minute shower. I told the staff Saturday morning when I was leaving for the day that the shower working was very important to me and they wrote up a work order. That night, it appeared……

“The grounds need attention. The entire back side was dirty needs yard work. The Homewood Hitel next door was an eyesore. Something going on because the hotel seemed closed down but k9 cars and some dressed up people wandering around. Strange atmosphere. ”

“We moved from the area over 25 years ago. We were coming back for Easter and read some of the reviews and was skeptical of staying. We walked in and were greeted with two very friendly staff. The room was clean and we loved the larger fridge. We did not eat at the breakfast buffet only because we were off to a family members house for breakfast on Easter but my husband got coffee and said it looked good. Checking out we had another two very friendly staff members. I would stay there again……
