“When checking in, we were asked if we wanted to upgrade to a room with a fridge and microwave. We were only staying one night and said that we were ok with the current assigned room, as we had stayed here before. Well.......we should have upgraded. The door to our room did not shut well, so we (3 women) were a little leary about staying in the room. The room, with the exception of the bed quilts, looked like it had not been remodeled since the 1970's. There were no outlets close to the……

“Clean room however it did have a musty smell upon entering. The lady who was on site introduced herself and was very friendly. The view of lake was pretty. Overall a nice quiet place with plenty of space in the room.”

“Cardinal house was clean, peaceful and relaxing. There was plenty of wood for the woodburning fireplace and there were only 4 old ladies but we enjoyed sitting in our rocking chairs, sipping coffee and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere. This would be a great place for families to enjoy a family "campout" without having to worry with tents and dragging the camping gear.. the kitchen is fully equipped with plenty of cooking pots and pans. It is a good ways from town so bring everything with you.……

“We had our wedding here and the experience was great! The host let us tour the property before booking and went above and beyond for us. The host gave us their personal number for questions or concerns and always gave an immediate answer. We had a wedding with about 100 people and everyone loved the space. I cannot recommend this place enough! The property is beautiful and there is so much to do there. Between the house, cabins, and reception area we had enough places for about 50 people to……

“Our family had a great time. The open floor plan made it easy to see and communicate. The kitchen had everything we needed. The kids loved the swing set and the adults enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit. It was not that far to restaurants and the downtown area. We will definitely stay again!! ”
