“We enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider staying again. Our trip started on a rough note when we arrived late in the evening to find the unit had not been cleaned—dirty beds, no clean towels, leftover food, dirty dishes, etc. Fortunately, our host was extremely responsive and had a cleaning crew on-site quickly. “Usually when you see pics of the location it is exaggerated, but this 1 is not! this is right on the beach and the view is stunning! They have everything you need to enjoy the water and the beach including snorkel gear, chairs, towels etc. we had baby and momma chics visit us every morning. Luke was easy to get ahold of and answered his phone when I called.”

“The unit is located in the Sandpiper complex. There's a small and a larger parking lot that you will need to hang a permit to park in either. Make sure to park in an unmarked spot or else you will get towed. We didn't really get to check out the pool or grill as we had an issue trying to check in our first day. Luckily, we were able to get a hold of the Host and he refunded us a good amount to make up for the mishap. The unit is on the small side and can only accommodate 2 people. The bed……

"Great value stay in Kauai, especially for families. This is probably the best value hotel we’ve stayed at in Hawaii. It’s not a luxury resort, but it offers everything you need. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well maintained without feeling outdated. The location is a huge plus. It’s close to the airport and within easy walking distance to Coconut Marketplace, where you can find restaurants and a grocery store. Not needing to drive for meals or snacks was extremely convenient. The hotel’s restaurant, Lava Lava Beach Club, is also delicious and worth trying. One of the most memorable moments of our stay was spotting a monk seal resting right on the beach in front of the hotel—such a special and unexpected experience. A couple of small things could be improved: the shower pressure in our room was a bit weak, and the public microwave in the lobby wasn’t very easy to find. Overall, this hotel is a great option for families. Our 2-year-old had a wonderful time here, and we would happily stay again on our next trip to Kauai."
