"Excellent location on OBX. Super nice beach access and a pool. Wish we had been able to stay longer to take advantage of that! Nice breakfast in the morning. My husband did have trouble with the stairs as there was not a first floor room available. Clean rooms, good AC, and great staff!"

"This was our first family trip to the Outer Banks and Shutters on the Banks was a great place to stay. One of the few hotels that still provides daily room cleaning. This meant we had fresh towels and they even vacuumed. The free breakfast and being on the beach was great to have with kids. The two pools were also a welcome break from the ocean waves at the end of the day. Overall, this was a great location on the beach and close to several restaurants and attractions. We will definitely be back!"

"Really appreciated Tracy and Phyllis’s help they were very accommodating and kind. The pool was warm and loved the direct access to the beach. Breakfast was tasty and they even served real scrambled eggs. Definitely would recommend the restaurant across the street, Miller’s for great service and seafood. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back."
