“The beds were comfortable and quiet for the most part. People were friendly helpful and bar service was excellent. Nice having a bar onsite. Beach access through the pool was awkward and room was a bit dated but clean.”
“The staff was extremely friendly. It's a good place to stay in a pinch or last minute. Its an older building and the owner could do better with upkeep. The elevator seems to work okay, but definetly a little concerning to use. The room was clean. The beds are comfortable. We rented three rooms and the air conditioner in one room did not work well. Over all I'd rate it a 5/10. Satisfactory for a night's stay.”
“We were really thrilled to be staying right on the beach. Their pool area was closed and there was no where to wash off all the sand from the beach. We weren't super impressed with the hotel and staff. The room was nice though!”
“It was such a pleasure meeting Bill and Veda during our stay! They were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us a delicious breakfast each morning and even packing up extra fruit for us to take to the beach, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The place itself is beautiful, cozy, and made us feel right at home. For our first visit to the Outer Banks, we truly couldn't have picked a better place to stay. The location was perfect a short walk to the beach access and several great food spots.

“The location itself was amazing, the house is beautiful. I wish it had been more clear that it is a room in a house that’s shared with multiple other people. There was another guest staying in a room directly across our door, I would consider this more of a hostel experience than a regular bed and breakfast. The breakfast was oatmeal packets, pop tarts, English muffins that were already opened and only had a couple left, a 1/4 of a container of milk and then grapes. The wine was nice but it was……
