"The first colony Inn had a nice ambience, the breakfast was good and staff was helpful and friendly. The facility is dated, but it had a nice character. The only I guess you could say complaints I had was that there was still sand in the tub in our room and the carpeted floors could use a really good cleaning. Otherwise It was a nice time and quiet place. I would go back again."

"We had a wonderful weekend experience. Our cabin was big enough for us, the kids, and the grandparents. Kitchen was well equipped and there was plenty of room for us. The front desk staff were friendly and made the check-in process smooth. Checkout was even easier. We were really pleased with the cleanliness of the cabin and the space. Will be back for sure!"

"“Water view” is misleading - I assumed we were in the back overlooking the sound. No. We saw the parking lot, the 4 lane road, then a sliver of water. The blinds in our room do not cover the entire window edge to edge. Coffee maker- no cups. No soap in the dispenser at the sink."

"We enjoyed our stay! The house was very clean and the walk to the beach easy. The location is close the the grocery store and restaurants. Kitchen had all the needed utensils for cooking in a few nights as well."
