“Flawless stay, absolutely stunning hotel and grounds, matched by wonderful attention from every member of the team who made our stay completely memorable. Room exceeded our expectations- spacious, cool and very comfortable, beautifully designed with gorgeous bed. “This hotel is centuries old and is in a beautiful Tuscan setting in a VERY small town. There are no restaurants or shops in this town. The hotel, while serving an excellent European breakfast, does not have a restaurant for lunch or dinner. If you don't have a car, you're stuck. The first night, we had to hire a cab to take us into Montefollonico. We went to a lovely restaurant (Gobbi 13) and we had a delicious meal, but the cab ride cost us 125 EU. The hotel staff was very sympathetic. ……
