"Wonderful cabin! Only thing needed was an outdoor area to keep trash so wildlife couldn’t get into it. Only thing to change is the toilet paper, it’s rough. We had to buy Charmin. Beautiful cabin, amazing views, great surprise to have board games. We will be back!"

"We thoroughly enjoyed The Nest! A very cool place in a perfect location, easy walk to everything in downtown Highlands including some hiking trails. The host was very responsive and included some nice touches with extra amenities waiting for us upon our arrival. We absolutely recommended The Nest!"

"The property is so beautiful and charming. The host did an excellent job of responding with any question I had. The back patio is like a tree house, incredibly lovely and relaxing. Although we were extremely busy with my daughter’s wedding we felt lucky to have such a nice place to call ‘home’ for a few days."

"Home was clean. comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything we could need. When you first walk in the view of the mountains is breathtaking. My wife thought it was a little creepy that there was no blinds in the main bathroom.you should seriously do something with the road. We had a truck and we had to had to use 4wheel drive."

The bike shop in town replaced a tire on my husband’s bike. Ice cream/candy store in town was amazing. Spent time out on the screened porch reading. Would stay again."

"We recently celebrated a friend’s birthday in the Highlands, and this home could not have been more perfect! Plenty of beautifully decorated bedrooms, spacious and comfortable living room, and adequately stocked kitchen. The views from the deck were wonderful, the neighborhood was quiet, and the best part was that we could walk everywhere within minutes. We parked our cars and didn’t need them all weekend. Thank you for sharing your awesome home!"

"We loved the home. We had a neighbors boxer dog visit, 4 or 5 deer come up to front porch and 1 rabbit. The out building was a surprise with 3 tables and a restroom. It was also handicap accessible as our 31yr old daughter has cp. The only negative was we didn't get the lock combination to the front door, we texted vbro and was told we couldn't be found in system so we called manager to fine his voice mail full. After driving for 4hrs will make your patience thin..but my wife had the forsite to...

"Big Game House provided a wonderful place for us to stay on our Biking trip to beautiful Brevard and WNC. The house is easy, walking distance to the shops and restaurants of downtown. However, you may not want to leave the house, as it is well stocked With games, foosball, bumper pool table. Very comfortable bedrooms and living area. The hot tub and back patio as well as the fire pit were great fun. We look forward to coming back to this property as soon as we can make it to the mountains again....

"We arrived a little early and Jason was very accommodating. The condo was gorgeous, the deck awesome, the only disappointing part was the screen door in the bedroom leading to the balcony was missing so we were unable to leave the door open and listen to the sounds.."

However there were so minor shortcomings I would not expect a home of this quality and value to have. 1. No information folder or binder of the property and local area; place to see, things to do, places to eat out. 2.There were 30-35 trash bags in the garage. They had been there awhile, because it smelled. 3. Handle in guest shower was not attached and came off....
