Wedding weekend stay

This property was so accomodating for our large family gathering for a wedding weekend. The spacious outdoor patio space, with woodburning fireplace, was particularly welcoming and provided adequate cover from the mountain storms.I would highly recommend this property for a large group of people, with comfortable beds for all, plenty of bathrooms, and cozy living spaces.

Perfect spot for a girls weekend!

We could not have picked a better place to stay. The house was spacious and well equipped. The beds were so comfortable and the back porch with a fireplace was to die for. It was very close to town and to local restaurants. We would highly recommend to others!

Fantastic porch!

Great location. Shared living spaces were awesome, especially the porch. We had a large party and there was plenty of room for all to gather together. The only complaint is the beds in a couple of the rooms were uncomfortable.

Family Spring Break

We stayed at Twig & Nest with our two teenagers and two teenage friends. Barbara's home is very warm and inviting and there is enough space for everyone to be together or have quiet time when needed.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Each evening we relaxed on the deck with a fire in the fireplace and the sounds of nature. It was like sitting in a treehouse. Highland Hills Home

We visited over Christmas and the home was cheerfully decorated with an inviting gourmet kitchen for fun holiday cooking. We are return guests and hope for many more visits in the near future. The area is majestic and the home well appointed. Would love to see all the flowers in the Spring!

Beautiful home enjoyed by all my family. Had everything we needed. The property is tucked away among the trees with a patio setting we never left. Beautiful Experience

Barbara was a great host. Check in and instructions for the house were super clear and easy to follow. The house was perfect for us (8 adults). The covered outdoor area and fireplace were amazing for evening fires and conversation. And we loved the close proximity to downtown Highlands. Very short drive and easy access to shops and restaurants.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Twig and Nest house. It is a lovely property situated in beautiful woodlands conveniently located a short drive from town. It is very comfortably furnished, and the outdoor deck and fireplace were a delight. This was the perfect place for a warm reunion of lifelong friends. The hostess' communications were most helpful, and she provided spices, laundry detergent, and everything we needed for our stay.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Twig and Nest over Thanksgiving. This home feels like someone truly lives there full time. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner for 8 without having to bring anything but the food. There was also someone nearby and available when we had any questions or issues.

Charming & Conveniently Located

Exceptional cozy home located only 5 minutes to downtown Highlands. The outdoor porch was wonderful and where we spent most of our time! Kitchen has everything you need for preparing meals. Home was decorated so cute for Fall/Halloween. The owner Barbara was a delight to work with and very accommodating! Highly recommend! We will be returning in the future!
