"Great ocean view, however one elevator was functional the entire week we were there. It’s a large hotel to only have one working elevator. Housekeeping is supposed to be every other day, however we did not have anyone attempt to clean our room in 5 days. We ran out of toilet paper and had to go to the front desk and get a new roll, as well as clean towels. Our trash piled up so much that I resorted to taking it down myself to a large trash can by the ice machine. For almost 300 a night I expected a little better service. "

"When I booked this place, it was based on the pictures online. When we got to our room it looked like I was back in the 70’s. Pastel flowers on drapes with matching chairs. Braided area carpets that hold sand for random. The room was so outdated and not clean. I literally wipe the floor with a wash cloth. Arriving staff was friendly. I asked for a late check out and the woman didn’t even make eye contact with me before she said no. Not friendly at all. No daily housekeeping. I definitely won’t return to this hotel. "

"Breakfast was a bit cool but lots of verity for kid and adults. Pool was clean, room was clean and spacious but cozy. Staff was all very kind."

"AWFUL!!! I have major concerns about the security of this property. We were issued a key but did not response directly to the room until a couple hours later. Upon return, someone was in our room. It's a really bad feeling when you are traveling with your child and realize that there are multiple keys issued for a room OR the hotel has squatters. Walls are paper thin-person in the neighboring room had the tv on ALL night (at a normal volume) and we could hear EVERYTHING. Didn't even take may chances with breakfast - as soon as we "woke" up from not being able to sleep more than an hour or so at a time, we rolled out. We were here to visit UNC-W. It was close to campus but not really walkable. Suffice it to say, if my kid goes to school there, I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. TERRIBLE."
