As a solo woman traveler, safety and cleanliness are really important. The Fallon Hotel fulfilled both -- a quiet downtown with the young family owners in residence. The bed linens and towels were immaculately white and the bed super comfortable. Also important to me is avoiding chain hotels where each one looks like the last. Travel should bring new experiences. The Fallon Hotel comes through again, a huge old building in a historic old town along the Susquehanna River. And it's a great opportunity for people who love old buildings to get a glimpse into one family's dream project (a big one ....). I think some rooms are more restored than others and the one I had still needed a few minor tweaks. But I loved the original sink and bathtub, the light fixtures, etc. I hope they continue to "lean" into and restore these special features that make for a true historic hotel experience. I'll definitely stay there again.

I loved this hotel. Very clean. The gentleman that checked me in was wonderful. Very kind and patient despite a large tour group that had just arrived via tour bus. The layout of the room is convenient and efficient. I love the hooks instead of a closet. Wish other hotels would do this. Breakfast area was clean and good selection of food. Would recommend and and would stay here again.

This was a spur of the moment change of plans in our travels.What a most plesant treat,We love history and this place is undergoing a major renovation.So not pretty but interesting to see the restoration in process.Breakfast Buffet,10+++Amazing.We also had a lovely dinner made to order.Every employee that helped us knew about great friendly service.The note left on our nightstand...a blessing from the hotel.I believe there are very few places in America that provide this level of Greatness.

Room was clean but had a weird smell (cleaning solution). It was also a little cramped. Gym was small. Didn't get a chance to check out breakfast. Staff could have been a little more friendly. Had to go down to the lobby ourselves to get more towels. They seemed a little bothered that we even asked.

Been here numerous times, love the location and the cleanliness of the property.
