Excellent service by the staff. And nice restaurant.
Room size is really limited and carpets are really dirty . They should let the guests know about it before booking family rooms. No space for luggage’s or walking space after putting the 2nd child bed.
It will be good to have some bench or stool to store the luggage the gives a bit more walking space.

Liked: Staff & service
The stay was comfortable, except no telephone in the room in the event of an emergency or need to have something. I used the buzzer, in the room no one came, had to continuously go to the desk. Most of the staff was friendly and helpful.
We really liked the location. It was short walking distance to the river and the Tower Bridge. The restaurant was really nice and the wait staff were friendly. I liked having it to as part of the hotel. The room was a decent size. We have stayed in London before, paid more and had a tiny room. This was much better.
One little hitch was on our arrival. We had booked with Expedia and the automated check-in did not have our booking in the system. We had to wait to check in with the person at the desk. (who was on break when we arrived) Apparently Expedia bookings don't show up in their system as a regular booking and you need to do it with a person at the desk. It scared us, but after that, it was fine.
All the staff were really nice. The woman at the desk on our way out was very helpful. She kept our bags until we had to go to the airport. She had been to Canada and was really friendly. She also gave us good advice as to how to get to the airport quickly. She was very nice and had a good personality to be in the hospitality business. We will stay there again.

Disliked: Staff & service
I only gave this property 3 stars because it was an average of some outstanding experiences and some terrible ones. My first room (124) was terrible because the sirens, motorcycles, and trucks were too loud for me to sleep. The problem was that the windows would not close completely. Worse, the staff, at first, refused to give me another room because I "had used the sheets" and they were not supposed to offer a new room for the next 3 nights. The second room (308) was excellent: quiet and comfortable. The restaurant was great for a large breakfast and they all day drink specials and happy hour. On the other hand it was chronically understaffed during lunch and dinner, to the point of us missing a couple of meals there because there was little or no service. There are more examples but you get the idea: some great, some terrible. It seems like they are trying to be a modern hotel but it is still run like a hostel. Its hard to know whether to recommend it to a friend because I am not sure which experiences they would get.
Wish there was mini fridge in room but other than that it was excellent

Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
The room smelled so bad of mold and each time we complained they just sent us air fresher. No heat in the room very cold and asked them to turn on the heat multiple times .

USB charging port didn’t work. Shower curtain smelt like it needed a clean. Lots of banging doors not sure if it was specific guests or just the building.
Excellent location, nice staff. WiFi ridiculously bad (we did not pay for the available upgrade, as we had booked the hotel with the understanding that WiFi was included.) Thin walls - we heard everything happening in the hall and other rooms as well as on the street. Windows could not be opened. Air-conditioning turned off automatically after short periods, so I was up multiple times in the night to turn it on again. No answer to emails or calls before arrival.
