Nestled in the foothills of Altadena area, just North of Pasadena, Sage Cottage is a lovely getaway to settle into for your next holiday. Just ten minutes to Old Town Pasadena, the Rose Bowl Stadium, and Brookside Golf Course, this 3-bedroom,
2-bathroom property features everything you need for an enjoyable vacation. With a view of the mountains right down the street, hiking trails around the corner, and less than thirty minutes to Downtown Los Angeles, you'll be ideally located to explore this part of California!

The open-plan concept provides space and natural light to this property. The living room area features a very large and comfortable sectional couch, Smart TV, and a decorative fireplace.

The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with a gas stove/oven, double-door refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, and all your cookware. In addition to the adjacent dining area, featuring a modern table with seats for four people, the kitchen also has an island with high-top seating for two. This space is perfect to gather with your guests over a nice homemade meal or some of your favorite beverages.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed with plush linens and a wall mounted flat screen TV for you to unwind in the evening,
The second bedroom is outfitted with a comfortable queen-size bed and plush linens; the third bedroom has a versatile daybed, perfect for your child or teenager!

There are two bathrooms in this home; one features a shower/tub combination and the second with a stand-up shower.

Additionally, all your cutlery as well as tableware are stocked. Basic spices (sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil) are provided for your cooking needs.

PARKING: Private driveway and street parking.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT: Check-in is any time after 4 PM, and check-out is any time before 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out time may be available, please inquire about pricing at the time of booking.

Sage Cottage was an excellent place to stay! We were in Southern CA for four days and it was centrally located to the places we visited on our vacation. The house was cute and clean. The neighborhood was very peaceful and quiet. And the price was very affordable! I would definitely recommend this property.

Great location!
Sage Cottage is in a great location. Museums, gardens, restaurants and hikes are very close. The neighborhood is very quiet. The house is clean and the management company is responsive. The two main bedrooms are good sized with K or Q beds. If you plan to use the third bedroom it is small with a twin size bed, less light than the other two and no bedside table.

Perfect for our family of 5
We booked this property for our Universal Studios trip with our kids. It was a perfect location. I wanted to be away from Hollywood and downtown LA but close enough to where it wasnt too far of a drive. The mountain range behind the neighborhood was beautiful. We were going to hike, but the kids preferred to drive to the top. Wimps! (lol) All in all, this was a great stay and slept the 5 of us just perfectly.

This house was very quaint. It was very well updated on the inside and had everything our family needed for our 4 days. The location was good for us as it got you out of the real busy part of the cities, but you could also be on the freeway within 5 min. The check in process was easy and the property manager was easy to get a hold of.

What a comfortable home! Clean, spacious, and welcoming. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here with our kids and grandma, and grandma‘s little dog! Seemed like every detail was covered: snacks left for us, notes on how to use everything, great beds/baths/linens, back patio space, parking, and even a new non-stick pan! My ONLY suggestions would be to add steak knives , fill up the propane gas for the grill, and afix the glass tabletop to the base. But these are all VERY minor compared to the rest of the perfect accoutrements of this place. Would definitely stay here again! THANK YOU!

This was a very well maintained home in an excellent neighborhood with a great view of the mountains and a lot of upscale amenities close by. My wife was making the cake for a wedding and this location and the kitchen worked out perfectly.

Reasonable accommodation for families with responsive management company
Altadena is beautiful. It was great to have a house with a front and back yard as it provided plenty of space for our family. The couch appeared old and the Pack N Play available with the property was dirty. However, we mentioned this to the management company, which was very responsive and provided us with another Pack N Play later that day. Overall, this property can accommodate families well and the responsiveness of the management company is a plus.

This property worked very well for us for its size and location. Communication was easy and pleasant. The kitchen pots and pans and equipment in general needs a serious update. There was not a pan in the house he would use. (mostly non stick surfaces that were dangerously degraded) There was not a knife that would cut anything except a banana. The bathtub water control is located up by the shower so to take a bath, you have to keep standing up to change the water temp. Shower head in other shower just sprayed everywhere except where you wanted it to spray. That being said...everything else was pretty nice at this home. We enjoyed our stay.

Broken dishwasher, broken ice maker, only 2 dinner plates! Though the interior was exceptional, our vacation was hampered by these frustrations. The book instructed us to wash and return all dishes and strip all beds--not mentioned on the website. Very misleading! Not a kleenex to be had either.

Week with the family and dogs
Our family of 5 and 2 small dogs had a week in the Pasadena area and couldn’t stay with relatives, so we found this location. It was reasonably priced and met our needs. The yard is fully fenced, so dogs were able to roam the backyard easily. There are some beautiful homes in the neighborhood, so it’s nice to walk and see them, but many of the streets don’t have sidewalks, and cars tend to drive fast here, so be careful!
