“This was our second time staying and we would go back again. Home was clean and had everything we needed. The area was quiet, lake and beach were pretty. The only negative was the amount of goose poop on the property, both front and back although i dont know how that could be prevented.”

“We had a wonderful stay at this property! The location felt private but was very close to the main road running alongside Lake Superior. About 20 minutes from Tahquamenon Falls; about 10 minutes from the Great Lakes Shipwreck Museum. The cabin was clean, well-stocked, and very comfortable! The stairs are steep, so ascend with care, but very doable. We would definitely stay here again.”

“Brought our granchildren from North Carolina to see the U.P. Saw Soo Locks, Tahquamenon Falls,Miners Falls, Pictured Rocks, Seul Choix Pointe Lighthouse, water tower in manistique & fish Hatchery,Kitch-iti-kipi, & Oswalds Bear Ranch we loved the sauna & bonfires & family time!”

“It was quiet compared to the last place which was a little close to the road. We liked the extra blankets.We were happy to see the travel information”

“We were pleasantly amazed how isolated we found the location . Very few people were on the beach. We managed the “non potable” water for cooking and cleaning. I was thankful I brought my air fryer to cook meats/potatoes in. I’m a foodie! We navigated our beach equipment down the VERY steep trail s as bd settled in gor many gorgeous beach and rockhounding days. We even hunted for rocks at night! Great getaway from chaos of day to day!! Just want to note that the 18 mile drive in is beautiful but……

“This cabin has a lot of character and charm. I loved it because it reminded me of going to deer camp with my Dad when I was younger. If you have nostalgia for rustic living in the woods and the smell of a wood stove, this cabin is an absolute nostalgia-filled joy to stay in. It's a great place to relive those youthful memories, even though it's not the same cabin I stayed in as a kid. Great place to play board games, cook over an open flame, sit outside and star gaze, enjoy the bird song of……

“This is a perfect cabin for our snowmobiling get away. It was important that we were able to bring our elderly dogs that have never been kenneled. It provided a stress free stay. We are very low key people and love the hominess of the cabin. We will definitely return next season. ”
