“We had a great time at Moot Point. My goal was to get my daughters to catch some stripers and for my wife to read as many books as possible, both were accomplished. Fishing was slow but steady and the girls had a blast. Kayak access is easy just have to be 3-4 hours of the high tide. Denise was a fantastic host. We had a hot week and the back deck gets ALOT of sun. My only ridiculous complaint is we needed more forks and pot to steam lobster would have been good. Amazing sunsets and pleasant……

“We had an enjoyable stay in Essex. The lake is lovely and we took advantage of getting out on and in the water. The house, which is updated, offers multiple spots to sit indoors or out to enjoy the view. Our group was all adults, but this house and property was well set up for families with young children. Downsides included WiFi issues to start, bedding issues, and an initial concern about an algae bloom in the lake which resolved itself after a day or two but would have been a major……

It was an easy walk to our favorite beach. The house had everything needed including fun games that we enjoyed playing. Laura is an excellent and responsive host. We will definitely be back!”
