Fabulous and completely reformed apartment, located in one of Plaza Mayor's archways.

This spacious and cozy apartment is situated in Calle Felipe III number 7. Calle Felipe III is one of the pedestrian only streets That accesses Plaza Mayor, and the apartment is located right next to one of Plaza Mayor's archways.

The apartment is on the third floor, and the building being one of the original and protected the buildings of the area does NOT have an elevator.

Our apartment has 2 bedrooms with double beds, and 2 bedrooms with bunk beds, with a maximun capacity of 10 people.

The living room has a large sofa bed and TV. The independent dinning room has a dinning table for up to 10 people. Both the living and dinning rooms have a balcony onto the street. Guests can Their meals prepared in the kitchen, Which is equiped with washing machine fully and dishwasher.

Perfect location at Plaza Mayor! Surprising quiet for being right next to the cultural center of Madrid. We loved that it is just down the street from the churros at San Gines and shopping at El Corte Ingles. The Property owner was excellent to work with and very accommodating! We will be back!!

Love this place!
Wonderful location for our first time in Madrid! The apartment was just the right size for our family of 7 adults. Don’t overlook the description of the stairs…we knew it when we booked and it was fine for us…we needed the exercise after all the fine food in Madrid!

Great central location in the heart of Madrid
Bright, clean and efficient apartment located within steps of the Plaza Major. We were able to easily walk to Puerto del Sol, San Miguel Market, the Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral, Prado Museum, Retiro Park and the El Rastro Flea Market. Plenty of great little restaurants nearby where we could sit outdoors and enjoy the beautiful weather.

This was the most uncomfortable place ever
The place was clean and Isa was very nice. But the place is in a very noisy area and there’s on one air conditioning. No place to store your close and the back room don’t even have regular windows. It was like sleeping in a sauna. They charge you a cleaning fee but you have to clean everything. The rules are not listed but are in the apartment . The building smells awful and very uncomfortable to bring your luggage to the 3rd floor. It was not a good experience. I gave it a 👎

Location can’t be beat!
Our stay was brief but pleasant. The property is surprisingly quiet for being so close to the Plaza Mayor! The bedrooms and bathrooms were small, but that’s to be expected in a city apartment. It was plenty comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our time in Madrid. Lots of stairs to reach the apartment, but they helped us work off all the delicious food we ate at the Mercado de San Miguel! Would absolutely stay here again next time we are in Madrid!

I highly recommend this apartment if you are traveling with a group of 8 or less. Very clean roomy and centrally locates. Isa the property owner was great to work with. If you cannot handle stairs I do not recommend.

Lovely and convenient.
Greeted and welcomed personally. Bright and airy living and dining rooms. Limited windows in bedrms. Furnishings were comfortable (mattresses average), though linens and pillows should be upgraded. Bedrooms warm, though portable fans provided throughout and main areas have AC - air just doesn’t filter down to bedrooms well. 2 bathrms. Excellent location, steps from Plaza Mayor. Outside of building deceptive when compared to apt. Stairs - 3 narrow flights. Enjoyed ourselves and apartment. Thank you for your gracious hospitality.

Great location, clean...a tad small
This location is incredible. The place has everything you need and was very clean. We were a group of 10 and it was a little cramped for our size group, but for a group of six or eight this would be perfect! Isa was very accommodating and friendly. Met us at the place after our late flight and she made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this apartment!

Great apt in great location
We enjoyed our stay at the fabulous apartment in Plaza Mayor. The location is great - just footsteps from the Plaza and so close to the main street, Calle Mayor. The apartment was perfect for our family of 6 - 4 adults and 2 children - bedrooms are smaller than expected but it was still plenty of space. The apartment was clean and everything worked well - the only caution is that it is a walk-up so beware if you have problems with stairs or if you have lots of luggage. Isa was very sweet and met us at the apartment for check-in. They also left us coffee and muffins, which was a nice treat!

It is perfectly located and very convenient. The only difficulty we had is that the other apartments in the building were under construction. The owner did not warn us about this and we did not get a clear response to our requests. Otherwise the sounds propagate easily in the building, making late evening chats disturbing if they are loud...

We had a great stay. The apartment is right on on Plaza Mayor. We could see the plaza from the window, but we did not find it too loud. It was clean and we had plenty of space. It is on the 3rd floor, but we did not mind the stairs.

Great Location
Family has stayed on or just off of Calle Mayor at the Plaza Mayor several times now. It is our favorite location in Madrid. This property is perfectly situated. Nice layout, nice kitchen, and the two bathrooms make it very convenient for guests. The stair climb does get tiring (3rd floor), and you do need a few seconds rest walking up as there is no elevator. We had a total of four people staying. That worked out well. I believe six would be the comfortable limit. 8 or 10 would get tight and busy. The refrigerator was a good size so you can store plenty of items. Two smaller markets down the street one way, and a main one just off Puerto de Sol. Metro stops easy reach at Sol or the Opera. Plenty of shops and restaurants within steps away. For summer travelers, there is one main AC unit in the living room and fans in the bedrooms. Not sure how that would work, but plenty of heaters for the winter that you can crank up. Remember, people in Spain stay up late, so if you are an early sleeper, you might hear the footsteps of those above you. Very low street noise though. Towels and bed linens were good. All in all very satisfied. On long days out though, the stair climb can feel like a mountain...yikes!!

The location was perfect right in front of plaza mayor. Very easy to get around and walkable to many places in Madrid. The place was clean and we did not struggle for sleeping arrangements for a group of 6. The place seems a lot bigger in the pictures than in person but was still very nice and with enough room for our group. Only downside is the three flights of stairs you need to take to get to the apartment, which is a little inconvient with a lot of luggage, overall great place and would stay there again.

Beautiful in historic Madrid. So comfortable and perfect!
Love that we were met at the airport and brought straight to the property. Property was beautiful and everything we could ever want. We only wish we had more tha. 24 hours to,spend in the heart of Madrid before heading home. Everything you could want was there, so apacious and comfortable which was unexpected in the historic part of Madrid.
