“Very beautiful and relaxing and exclusive. It was not busy at all. The individual buildings are great the staff was very friendly. Everything just needed some maintenance or some more attention to it than it was maybe getting. like some of the pathways were very uneven and difficult to walk on there were some areas in the bathroom that you felt like you were going to fall through the floor, tge toilet sounded like it was gonna shift every time you sat, just cuz everything wasn't real tight just……

“The location is pretty good. The AC works well and the bed was comfortable enough. It is bare bones basic with shoddy construction in some areas. The tiles in the shower, for instance, wiggle when you stand on them and the grout is loose. ”

“2nd time staying at Arihini. The staff is very friendly and helpful and is prompt at responding to any requests. The only “negative” comment we have is that the combo washer/dryer in the units are not efficient….takes over 3 hrs to do a load of laundry! ”

“The people of Roatan were so customer service focused but NOT the Blue Roatan. We booked an oceanview room for 19 days and due to renovations, the hotel changed us to a jungle condo up the hill but we would get a "private pool"(until a few days later when someone else moved in as well). WE MADE A BIG MISTAKE. LEARN FROM US AND NEVER BOOK ANYWHERE FOR ANY MORE THAN A WEEK. This place is very remote so unless you've got tons of money to spend eating at a the other few hotels on the beach don't……

![From San Pedro Sula we hopped a short flight down to the island of Roatan.  Our original intention was to stay a few days and then head back to the mainland to see some of the other sites Honduras has to offer.

We got to West End and only left to catch our flight back to the States.  It was so low key, the water and sand amazing and our room with a porch and hammock with an ocean view was very affordable!

The scuba diving here was really good and cheap.  If you can't be bothered with that, at least bring your snorkel kit; it's nearly as good as the diving.

![East of the main road in West Bay Roatan, lives a treasure trove of beach bars and restaurants for every flavor.  The Argentinian Grill has a great Happy Hour (Hora Feliz) with amazing food and a beachy open air atmosphere which is perfect for people watching or taking in the spectacular West End Sunsets.  

Please note than in October (low/rainy season) many locals go on Holiday and some businesses close for the month(s).
