“⭐⭐ 3/5 – Disappointing Experience at Grand Roatán I had high expectations for Grand Roatán, but unfortunately my experience was disappointing. Before arriving in Roatán, I called the hotel to arrange airport transportation for my family. When we arrived, nobody was there to pick us up, so we had to hire a taxi at our own expense to get to the property. After arriving, we were unable to get into our room until after 4:00 PM. “If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful get away... this is the place. The resort is small with only about 25 rooms. It's a bit dated but rooms were spacious, clean and the AC worked wonderfully well. The best part about the resort is the beach. It's absolutely gorgeous. Cruise ships drop people off at the beach from about 8:30am -2:30pm and the place goes into beach party mode with live music and beach bars. After the cruise crowd leaves, you have the entire place to yourself... literally!……

However, I do feel the hotel needs more lighting in the area and some minor repairs to the property. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
