"Stayed a weekend at The GEM Museum and arrived around 2pm. They have a strict check-in at 4pm, so a little disappointed the room was not ready. However, we sat on the patio and the receptionist came over once it was to be checked in. We stayed on the 5th floor. Spacious room. Lots of pillows. Cold air. All the amenities we needed. I will say, I would prefer rooms that had not previously been booked with pets as you can definitely smell the odor upon entering. We had traveled with our dog before, so I am grateful for hotel that allow pets. We dined in the restaurant for breakfast 1 day, and dinner 1 night. Breakfast was buffet and basic. Dinner we had the chicken skewers, and were delicious! Hamburger was just so so. Fries were good. Lamb meatballs were slightly overcooked. We were the only couple dining on a Saturday night, and food service was slow in my opinion for a table of 2. However, very courteous wait staff. We checked out by 4 a.m., and my only complaint is the person working was sitting in the office on a personal call over 20 mins and did not acknowledge we walked up to the desk, so we sat on the sofa. Prior to our Uber, my husband walked back over to confirm the dinner the night before was added to our bill and confirm we'd receive an email statement. Great location. We will stay again."

"Before you can get your key and code you have to make sure you upload your drivers license and payment card to the link they send you and the person who answers the phone doesn’t speak great English and is not very friendly and if you don’t understand what she is saying she will hang up on you we waited outside an hour trying to figure out how to get in."

"This was a very utilitarian old school drive-up motel. The room wasn't fancy, but it was clean and functional. We were happy that the ice machine worked well. The location turned out to be good for us. The parking lot was a little challenging, but we quickly figured out it was best to park in the open area on the far left side."
