Had some nice shops and good local food restaurants. There was a coop grocery and convenience store where we picked up a few things we needed to eat in the car and have in the hotel rooms at night.

"Beautiful room with a view. Close to the beach, would definitely stay here again if in the area. Room was clean, quiet and a decent size. The staff was extra friendly, the meal in the hotel restaurant was delicious. Nice little gem."

Mallaig was our launching point for a day tour of Skye, so we didn't do much there per se except take the ferry to Armidale.

The early ferry is too early for breakfast at the hotel and there is no food on the ferry. I wish we would have asked for a packed breakfast at the hotel; I'm sure it would have been nice for a picnic or to eat while waiting for the ferry.
