“The room was excellent and the staff were all lovely. We had dinner the first evening but somehow our order got 'lost' and we waited an hour for the food from ordering. Meanwhile, meals were being brought out for diners around us. No one seemed to notice that we were waiting and waiting..... However, the staff were very apologetic, the food was delicious (when it finally arrived) and we were not charged for it in the end. Overall, a great place to stay- and eat- and we would recommend.”

There is no property name or street number on the property. A lady living some 25 meters away didnt know of the property! “The Snug was very comfortable and well equipped. It was also very clean. I could not work the shower but I did not contact the owner so I am sure it would have been sorted if I had. It was only three nights and there was a bath so I did not. It was well located, quite near to Matlock Bath. The bed was comfortable and it was well decorated throughout. ”

“This property is lovely. The main living area comprises of a kitchen, dinner and living room with an open plan double bedroom above it. There is then a second bedroom with a door that closes. The layout maybe important depending on the make up of your party. The place was decorated very well. The beds were comfy. There was lots of places nearby that our 5&8yr olds loved. A great base for exploring.”
